New area with gypsy moth occurrence in north-eastern Slovenia

It looks like that the major part of Slovenian field experiments will be
performed at north-eastern Slovenia. Tanja Bohinc and Stanislav Trdan
(University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty) have found new areas with egg
clusters of the gypsy moth, in a deciduous forest near village Pince-Marof and less
than 1 km away from the border with Hungary. Location (46.51395, 16.52062) is
called Murska šuma. Egg clusters were mainly found on the trunks of beeches
    and oaks.
